Time Frame
20 Months / 48 Quarter Credits This program teaches competency in seven bodywork modalities: classic Western massage, cross-tissue massage, trigger-point massage, energy balancing, acupressure, on-site chair massage and sports & remedial massage. It provides a practical knowledge base in the health sciences. This is CCMT’s core program and offers flexibility in scheduling. 6 or 9 Months / 39 Quarter Credits This program teaches competency in five bodywork modalities: classic Western massage, cross-tissue massage, trigger-point massage, on-site chair massage and sports & remedial massage. It provides a practical knowledge base in the health sciences. This program is designed for those students who want to complete their massage education as quickly as possible and are able to devote themselves to full time study. *Available at the Newington campus only. Clinical Massage Therapy Program* Time Frame
24 Months / 76 Quarter Credits This program is designed for students intending to practice massage with a musculoskeletal rehabilitative orientation. Students study neuromuscular and myofascial techniques and gain an extensive knowledge base in the health sciences with particular emphasis on kinesiology. In addition, the program provides extensive training in Eastern theory, techniques and assessment to complement students’ classic Western training. Graduates of this program are eligible to apply for the New York State massage therapy licensure exam. *Available at the Westport campus only. Spa Massage Therapy Program* Time Frame
